This new chip is formed based on special technique which is so small and can be easily usable in any types of small device as well as computer. It is great for those types of devices which are so small and can easily bring able by pocket. The head of Ultra-mobility department of Intel’s, Anand said,
This new chip will lose power very less than recent atom chip.

NASA Awards to Improve Earth Science Resources

NASA logoNASA said they awarded around $6.4 million in U.S. grants to improve learning in its Earth science resources. The proposed grants were awarded to higher educational institutes and non-profit education organizations. All grant expected to pull NASA’s different contributions in basically climate science.

The chosen grant winners expected ways to enhance students’ educational experiences or advance educators’ abilities. By this, the space agency wants to engage the selected students providing facilities to investigate & study on the Earth system using their resources. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) told the grants will help to reach their target of engaging students in some vital disciplines of science, engineering, technology, and mathematics. The authority said the awards provide a three-year period of performance duration. It ranges in worth from $140,000 to $500,000.

NASA said more than 22 proposals were preferred for funding from some organizations. The organizations are located in several Districts. The Districts are

Atlantis set on Hubble Telescope

The shuttle Atlantis have launched last Monday on an $887 million mission to repair  Hubble Telescope for final time. It is been said that the mission is for 11 days and it is very dangerous ordeal of repair the orbit. This is why first ever in the history, 2nd shuttle will be ready if some mishappen happens,  and thus will save the seven astronauts.

It’s the second time for NASA to repairer the old Hubble Space Telescope. Earlier mission took two weeks. NASA is also hopping that; this expensive repairer will increase its life length up to five years.

NASA’s science mission chief, Ed Weiler said that he is very confidence and the mission will be a success. :)

“Yaogan VI” Successfully Launched

Yaogan IV

Last Wednesday, China sent a Remote-Sensing Satellite named “Yaogan VI”. It was launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. The center is located in Shanxi Province (north). Just at 10:55 a.m. the rocket was  sent into the space successfully on a Long March 2C carrier rocket. The satellite flight was the 117th of the Long March series of carrier rockets.

The purposes of the satellite:

  • Environmental Protection
  • Urban Planning
  • Crop yield estimates
  • Crop Yield Reduction
  • Space Science Experiments
